This year's Associates Night broke new ground with our first-ever Silent
Auction, an innovation that was the idea of Associates President Bob Patinella. As
it turned out, the Silent Auction was a big hit, featuring all kinds of sports event
tickets and memorabilia, and ended up generating $990.00 to help finance the
annual tradeshow event.
Jason Sennese (Ascher Bros.) was top drawings winner, winning $400.00 in cash.
Dave Zajack (All-Tech Decorating) won the coveted I-Pad, while Jeff Castles (Ascher
Bros.) won his first-ever raffle, grabbing the tiny but powerful I-Pod unit. Last but
not least, Tom Tyrakowski, Jr. (Am-Coat Painting) won a Cretors Popcorn Cart good for
making snacks at future home sports events … pending some assembly required.
Leo Hart (National Decorating) won the fancy set of screwdrivers.
Wall-to wall prizes were overseen and parceled out by PDCA Associates
President Bob Patinella and DJ Mark Van Deventer. By the numbers, we had 29
booths, 69 Associates attending, and 109 Contractors on hand, representing 31
FCAC Member companies.
